- Tubular wind mast

The tilt-up tubular telescopic type RK WindMast is available in heights ranging from 30, 40, 50 and 60 meters. Maintenance proof

Made from Carbon Steel ERW tubes, the tilt-up Mast is the best alternative to expensive, heavy labour-intensive lattice towers and the conventional flanged towers. The absence of any welded joints and exclusion of bolts, clamps and the hot dip galvanised steel parts makes RK WindMast literally maintenance proof.

Easy Installation

RK WindMast - made of large diameter, thin wall steel tubes in convenient lengths of 1.5 mts., and 3 mts., is lightweight and easy to carry manually over tough terrains. The installation can be carried out comfortably with minimum manpower and without requiring any additional bolts, clamps and cranes. RK WindMast is delivered with all the components ready to install and can be easily shifted from one site to another.

Durable & Robust

RK WindMast is the most robust tower in the market. The tilt-up tower is designed to withstand the toughest of site conditions. RK WindMast tubes made of galvanised steel are low in weight, high in strength, corrosion resistant and can withstand winds upto 52 m/s. The Ginpole contributes to a straight and easy lift of the tilt-up tower.

Monitoring Boom

RK WindMast can accommodate a number of monitoring booms at different levels, linking various instruments to the data logger.

Cables

The 2 core and 3 core low capacitance, shielded control sensor cables provide secure and robust data path for critical information from the sensors to data logger. These grey cables are specially made of annealed tinned copper with low density polyethylene ensuring good signal quality. For higher durability, the sheathing is specially formulated in PVC compound.

Shelter Box

The company provides the data logger with a sturdy, power-coated Shelter-box, which can be easily mounted on the mast with necessary clamps and locks. It protects the data logger from diverse weather conditions, thus enabling continuous data recordings.

Manufacturing Processes

RKIW's manufacturing plant at Vasind is equipped with the latest machinery alongwith proprietary designed special purpose equipment for accurate and precise flaring of mast tubes. The galvanised tubes are manufactured to the defined specifications and quality norms issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards. All out-sourced material undergoes stringent incoming inspection norms before being accepted for further processing. The company's sub-suppliers are carefully evaluated before being empanelled in the procurement system. There is a periodic evaluation of sub-suppliers for quality, reliability, delivery and price etc. Training, evaluation of training imparted and retraining forms the backbone of our technical expertise. All the measurement instruments employed in inspection of components are duly calibrated in accredited laboratories at regular predefined intervals.

Reaching the Destination

The packing and forwarding is carried out in a manner suitable for safe transport to remote sites. Wherever necessary the company uses own transport to carry the masts alongwith the peripherals to any corner of the country.
