Our Portable Pole Mount Wind Anemometer is What the Doctor ordered for small wind operators. It is one device that is not only economical but also helps undue anxiety and financial losses associated with selection of site based on wind parameters. Wind assessment with this unit helps you to assess expected returns before deciding to invest further on procuring and installing a small wind generator. You do not need ant special help and / or tools to install this unit at the proposed site of a house, village or open ground.

Mount the head and rotor on top of a pole or tripod, in a field or a building - continuously monitor wind speed, store max & average. Great for applications where AC power is not available.

Mount the head and rotor to your own pole or roof bracket, bring the wire in through a window or some other hole, and stick the display on the glass, a window, or anywhere you want. Connect the red & black wires and Voila! Display is a high quality. Speed range is approx. 5 to around 150 mph, although the calibration has only been verified from 5 to 50. Check out the specifications below for details. Battery life is around 1,000 hours of continuous use. Standard Unit includes head & rotor, aluminum mounting bracket, 7.5 meters of wire** self-stick display. Pole not included.

**If you want to, you can route and cut the wire where needed. However if you need an extended wire that also can be supplied at extra cost. The Unit has been tested up to 120 meters of wire.
