WIND EXPLORER

The Wind Explorer is a breakthrough in cost and simplicity in a wind energy data logger. It capably handles monthly frequency distributions binned by m/s or mph plus writes time series data. By itself, the Wind Explorer is ideally suited for basic assessment at residences, rural electrification projects, secondary towers, and comparison sites.

When used with the removable DataPlug (not included), it also stores 10-minute averaged data points for more detailed analysis. The easy-to-use, four-button control and 32-character display make using the Wind Explorer a breeze. The WE-Kit includes one #40 anemometer, one 20m (70') sensor cable, straight stub mast with hose clamps, and two 9V alkaline batteries.
